Launch Prep

Let's roughly decide on your product's basic information. You can always fill in the details later.

Basics

Here are some things worth checking when choosing a name. You don't need to cover everything — just consider what's relevant for the markets and situations you're targeting. Brainstorming with AI can also be a helpful way to generate name ideas.

Checked trademark databases for similar names (depending on your target markets)
Checked if the desired domain is available (.com is ideal, but .io or .app are also options)
Checked if social media handles are available (X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Confirmed the name is easy to pronounce and spell when heard
Confirmed the name doesn't have negative meanings in other languages

Having a custom domain can help build brand credibility. A short, memorable domain tends to work well.

A symbol mark represents your brand as a graphic, and is often used in small spaces like favicons, app icons, and social media profile images — minimal designs that are easy to recognize at small sizes tend to work well. A logo is a design that includes the brand name, commonly seen on websites, documents, and within the product itself. Having both can be convenient, but starting with just one is perfectly fine. Creating them in a vector format like SVG makes resizing easier.
